For us, the iconic Base Layers collection is one of the most emblematic Twenty One Cycling collections. With which we want to pay tribute to four legendary climbs in Barcelona, Girona and the Pyrenees: Turó de l'Home, Tibidabo, Els Angels and Tourmalet.
Each of the four designs of the collection is different and special, as is each of the climbs they represent: Today we want you to meet the Tourmalet Iconic Base Layer.
Every cycling's world lover knows the Tourmalet, either a goal or a recurring destination. So, this stage of the Tour de France could not be missing from our Iconic Base Layers' Limited Edition.
To know what the Tourmalet represents for the cycling world, we interviewed Clàudia. For her, the Tourmalet was an unattainable and complete distant climb.
That's why, with four more friends, they decided to break down their own neighborhoods and make this climb. Now, she defines it as a magical experience. "When we were on the top, a feeling of satisfaction and motivation overwhelmed us," she recalls.
